Acupuncture is effective in treating pain
Acupuncture is extremely effective in regards to muscle and joint pain. Generally sharp pain that may occur suddenly as a stiff neck or lumbar sprain can be resolved in a single treatment, or at least we can expect to see a significant improvement.
Chronic pain require more care than sharp acute pain and the improvement can be after two or three treatments. Chronic pain caused by conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis can be greatly reduced, but will require regular monitoring from once a week to once a month as needed.
